On CD13, I went in for my ultrasound and blood work. Ultrasound showed the follicle on my right hadn't grown, but all of the sudden there was a follicle on the left measuring at 13mm. Lining was around 8.3mm. The doctor said, okay maybe this is the follicle that will be dominant (referring to my left one). She called me later that day and my estrogen rose to 73.5 from 29. Okay, we're going somewhere!<br />
<br />
CD15-Last night I decided to take an OPK around 8:30. Most of the time, I don't bother taking them until the mornings. Of course the ones I'm using have been all weird and blotchy, but it looked positive or almost positive. I start freaking out, of course.<br />
<br />
CD16-I wake up and take an OPK. VERY positive. Go in at 7:15am and tell the doctor I tested positive with the OPK this morning. She checks my follicles. The one on the right is 19.5! The one on the left.... is gone... or at least we think it's gone. She had a hard time seeing anything on the left. OH! and my lining was 10mm!! omg! I went home to trigger right after the appointment and scheduled the IUI for tomorrow morning at 7:30. Of course, now I'm freaking out that I'll miss ovulation! <strike>Waiting for the doctor to call me with my levels, which should be in about 2 hours!!</strike><br />

So yesterday was CD12. My son and I went in for our appointment and were SO happy because the Doctor that helped us get pregnant with Liam was there to do my ultrasound. I had not seen him since I was 8 weeks pregnant! Immediately, I knew this was good luck. The ultrasound went GREAT. 8.6mm lining (Holy cow! My lining has NEVER been that big) and 1 lead follicle at 15mm. There were 3-4 others on the right side around 7-8mm. I was hoping for more, but I'm totally fine with these odds. Left the appointment super happy and they told me to come back Friday and I'd likely trigger that night for a Sunday IUI. GREAT! These appointments have been on all of my days off, which has been fantastic! Later that afternoon, I get a call from a nurse saying that my E2 levels are at 29.4, which means my body isn't reacting to the medicine like it should. She said it was very strange especially since my E2 levels were at 40 on CD3 and the fact that I had a mature follicle... I'm still going in tomorrow where they'll do another ultrasound and recheck my blood work. She said "I'm hoping it's lab error." I really hope so too. Otherwise, this cycle will be cancelled... We will be taking a break for a month too if this cycle is cancelled because we don't want a Christmas baby. :( Needless to say, my day was crushed at 4PM yesterday..<br />

Onto IUI#3 for TTC2.0-UPDATEDSo we tested last Wednesday when I was 13dpiui. It was definitely a stark white! Of course I was upset, but we knew this was a bad cycle.<br />
<br />
Onto the next cycle. We're doing L.etro.zole this time starting today, CD4 through CD8. I'm hoping I react well to these meds. Here is the info so far:<br />
<br />
IUI#3<br />
CD4-5 follicles right, 4 follicles left. <strike>Will update with blood work later.</strike><br />
<strike><br /></strike>
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "SF Regular", "Segoe System UI Regular", "Segoe UI Regular", sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-variant-ligatures: normal; letter-spacing: -0.2px; orphans: 2; white-space: pre-wrap; widows: 2;">BLOOD LEVELS:

HCG Level: <1.00
FSH Level: 3.37
LH Level: 5.30
P4 Level: 0.535
TSH Level: 2.07</span>Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-9263388346252638322018-01-29T06:08:00.001-08:002018-01-29T06:08:28.498-08:00TTC2.0 IUI#2So we triggered on CD18. I really didn't like the idea of not having another ultrasound that morning. I was left with the fact that the follicle was 16.5mm the day before and my lining was 8mm. So I have hopes that it grew to at least 18.5-19mm and that my lining grew to 9-10mm. But of course, I'll never know. I was also not crazy about the fact that my E2 level was only at 167 the day before trigger.<br />
<br />
Day of IUI, we go in and everything is good, except... the sperm count.. We only had a total motile of 11.1 million. Last IUI was 28.5 million. We actually paid for the high motility on this vial and everything. It was 46 total motile before wash. It really decreased. The vial we got was from 2016. The vial with last cycle was 2013. Guess it's normal for the motility to decrease as the donor ages. Needless to say, with all of the above info, we are not feeling optimistic at all. Going in on Thursday for progesterone blood work and then next Thursday for beta. We'll probably test next Wednesday. I will probably have a glass of wine for Super Bowl this Sunday because our home town team, the Eagles, are playing! And I HAVE to celebrate.. right?!Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-87772300009514444992018-01-22T08:56:00.000-08:002018-01-30T09:05:22.399-08:00TTC 2.0 CD15 and CD17-UPDATESo, we went to the RE on Saturday morning and finally my follicle is growing. there was 1 at 13mm and lining at 6mm. Went again this morning on CD17 and the follicle was 16.5mm and my lining was 8mm! My lining has NEVER been that good. Waiting on blood work to come back and they will call me. HOPEFULLY I'm not close to ovulation because we obviously want that follicle to grow. I'm definitely disappointed that I only have 1 good follicle. I've never had this issue with Clomid before. I've always had 2 good follicles. But I'm hoping with 1 good follicle and a thick lining, things will go well.<br />
<br />
IUI#2 so far<br />
CD4-12 follicles on the right, 6 on the left. Thyroid levels came back at 1.24!<br />
CD11-All follicles about 10 or under. Looks like 3 main ones so far. lining at 5.5. The only good thing about this is that my lining still has time to grow. Have to go back on Thursday! E2 was 47.6<br />
CD13-Follicles around the same size. Still about 3 main ones. Lining still at 5.5. <strike>Will update with E2 levels later.</strike> E2 levels up to 122! She said that's good and to come in on Saturday. Hoping my wife and son will be my good luck charms since my wife can finally come to an appointment!<br />
CD15-1 lead follicle around 13. Lining 6. E2 level actually dropped to 102. I assume that's because all the other follicles stopped growing and left only the lead follicle.<br />
CD17-1 lead follicle still around 16.5 on right. A lot of small ones 7-8mm on the left. lining is 8!!! <strike>Will update with levels later!</strike> E2 Level 167. Triggering tomorrow night on CD 18. IUI on CD 20. This is by far the LATEST IUI ever.... We're not feeling optimistic about this round.Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-5285446220970708982018-01-18T09:00:00.000-08:002018-01-18T12:36:27.518-08:00TTC2.0 CD13 UPDATE!Back to the RE this morning and my lining is STILL 5.5 and my follicles barely grew. UGH! I'm definitely getting discouraged but have to remind myself that my normal cycles are 37+ days long. I was just hoping for SOME growth and definitely wanted a good lining. So, depending on how the blood work comes back today, I'm either going in on Saturday, CD 15 OR Monday, CD 17. Going to find some Pom juice at lunch time and hope that helps. Really hoping this cycle isn't a bust :(<br />

I'll have to do a whole "where are we now" post, but for now... TTC2.0! Our first IUI was a bust. I forgot how awful it feels to get a BFN. Especially since EVERYTHING seemed to be perfect. I had a follicle of 22 and a 15. My lining was 7.7. Although low, it's the highest it's ever been for me. Sperm count was great as well. That was our last vial that we purchased when trying to get pregnant the first time. LUCKILY, although our donor is retired, there are still over 100 vials available and only for sibling births. So, onto IUI #2! Today is CD11 of IUI#2 and things are already different. Here are some comparisons:<br />
<br />
IUI#1<br />
CD4-Baseline ultrasound showed 10 follicles on the left, 8 follicles on the right. Thyroid levels came back elevated at 4.04. They were fine the month before.<br />
CD11-3 Follicles at 18, 13, 13. Lining at 5.5 Thyroid levels still high. prescribed synthroid<br />
CD12-4 Follicles at 22, 15, 13. Lining at 7.7---Triggered that night E2 was 413<br />
CD14-Total motile 28.5 million lots of cramping afterwards. I definitely ovulated right after the IUI<br />
CD25-11dpo. It was New Year's Day so we tested hoping to start the year right! BFN<br />
<br />
IUI#2 so far<br />
CD4-12 follicles on the right, 6 on the left. Thyroid levels came back at 1.24!<br />
CD11-Today... All follicles about 10 or under. Looks like 3 main ones so far. lining at 5.5. The only good thing about this is that my lining still has time to grow. Have to go back on Thursday! E2 was 47.6<br />
Hoping for a Saturday IUI. That would be lovely. Even Sunday would be fine too. This cycle, I've been drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea to thicken my lining. My lining is SO thin! It was 6 when I had my son though! If this cycle doesn't work, we're probably taking a break for a bit because we really don't want a november-january baby.<br />
<br />
I'll try to keep this updated as we go through TTC2.0!Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-52475270540506583132015-07-14T11:53:00.001-07:002015-07-14T11:53:47.564-07:002 MonthsHoly cow has the time flown! My wife and mother-in-law went to the casino for a bit while I stayed home with my father-in-law. My in laws had been here finishing our basement! I texted my wife around 11 to tell her to come home because our dog was going crazy and I couldn't sleep. She gets home and around 1:30, i go to the bathroom and there is a little blood and mucous plug. I start having contractions. I was in bed for a few hours trying to deal with them and timing them. They immediately started off at 5 mins apart. Around 4, I had horrible diarrhea and then got into the shower. I told my wife to get some sleep. The shower felt great. (As great as it can feel while you're having contractions) They start getting more intense and I'm pretty much screaming my head off. My wife calls our doula around 5 and tells her what's going on. She suggests getting in the shower again to see if the contractions lessen. They just get more intense and I'm losing more of my mucous plug and I'm pretty sure my water is breaking. I get out of the shower and we decide to tell the doula we are going to the hospital. This is around 7:30. We get stuck in rush hour traffic, of course, and make it to the hospital a little after 8. When I get in, a nurse checks me and says I'm about 3-4 cm dilated. Great! Then the doctor comes in and says I'm only 1.5. It was very discouraging. The nurses explained that he is stingy with his measurements though.<br />
<div>
After that? I continued to have contractions and had horrible back labor. Thank goodness the doula is a massage therapist and was able to counter pressure my pain. I also had this amazing heating pad that you plug in for 15 minutes, then unplug it and it stays warm for hours and becomes portable! That also helped. I was in many different positions to try to help. Mostly, I was leaning over the bed with the pressure on my back! I kept telling everyone that I felt like I was going to poop. Haha. I was also waiting for that moment of transition because I was afraid of more pain. Apparently I was already in it because my wife said I looked like I was having an out of body experience during contractions. They had become very different than the other contractions I was having. Meanwhile, I'm falling asleep between contractions. I hadn't eaten anything since the night before and didn't sleep at all! Then I felt like I needed to push so the my wife got the nurse in to check. She immediately said, oh my god his head is right there! So I started pushing. It felt amazing to push! It was hard because I have asthma and felt like I couldn't breathe through some of them, but after about 45 mins, there he was!! He shot out so fast that the doctor was like, whoa hold on. His cord was around his neck so thy had to cut it immediately. They left some for Jaci to cut too. They immediately put him on my chest for skin to skin contact. He must've loved it because he peed on me haha. I ended up having almost a 2nd degree tear. He had to give me a shot to numb where he was stitching, but I still felt it! I was just very glad not to tear more than I did. Needless to say, we were immediately in love and are now just obsessed with him. Here he was yesterday.<br />

Time has flown. We had both of our baby showers. One was in Kentucky and the other was here in Philly. Those were amazing and exhausting all at the same time. We just had an ultrasound on Tuesday and they say he is weighing in at 4lbs 7oz! I'm anxious to see how much weight he gains in the next 6 weeks. So far I have gained about 27 pounds! I'm still not waddling, unless I eat so much food and can barely move haha! <br />

Where has the time gone? We are officially in the single digits for weeks left! I've definitely had a lot of discomfort lately. I hate my couch. I sit on my exercise ball a lot. Or the floor. My in-laws are here finishing our basement and it is coming together so well. We will soon have a lil' man cave for our baby boy! His nursery is coming together too. Just waiting on the glider and ottoman to come in. Once that is done, I'll post pictures. I am in the crazy nesting phase... and I mean CRAZY. I want to organize everything and anything. I passed my glucose test. YAY! And baby boy is moving soooo much. I am going to miss that part about being pregnant. Leaving you with a picture from 27 weeks. So I'm actually a tad bigger now!<br />

I haven't written in soooo long. It's been a super busy month with the holidays, of course. We went to our anatomy ultrasound and confirmed it's definitely a boy! The tech said he has REALLY long fingers. They did a couple quick 3D pics and he definitely has at least 1 dimple too :)! Here is my bump picture from about 20ish weeks. <br />

I've gained 9 pounds so far as of 22 weeks. I'm an obvious prego now! Next appointment is next week and they will measure him. So I'm excited for that! I'll try to update more frequently. I'll have to do a post about the nursery soon.Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-78454239207083713682014-11-30T06:08:00.001-08:002014-11-30T06:08:17.860-08:00It's a.....BOY! We went to this awesome ultrasound place at 16 weeks. They guarantee everything and we wanted it to seem less doctor office like. It was great! We brought my mom and then had Jaci's parents on the phone while viewing a live link. There was a huge big screen that we could see everything on, a comfy bed for me, a comfy couch for everyone else and lullaby music playing. We knew within a couple minutes that it was a boy! It was very obvious. I definitely cried my eyes out. We also got a great DVD of him as well. He was licking the placenta! So gross! And he was also waving using his left hand. He uses that hand a lot. <div><br></div><div>Originally, we wanted a little girl in the family because I have 3 nephews and she has 2 but I guess we just rounded it to 6. After a while, we got REALLY excited at the idea of having a boy and now we want to buy him everything of course. We got our crib ordered and are going through the process of picking out bedding. Here was our Facebook announcement!</div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqmAzQTZcWlTL2UTkPu6Mto6hifXdAksbSo6vioSxtY1B1cKR7punD1LNVk8D_V5Om5AgCd61YIy0AV-GnNbGpnPTJEzujdLvBzjW9QMKrToiRhOHXTjGFsJOm_-OCGHGwmfKgYVACT7w/s640/blogger-image--734321962.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqmAzQTZcWlTL2UTkPu6Mto6hifXdAksbSo6vioSxtY1B1cKR7punD1LNVk8D_V5Om5AgCd61YIy0AV-GnNbGpnPTJEzujdLvBzjW9QMKrToiRhOHXTjGFsJOm_-OCGHGwmfKgYVACT7w/s640/blogger-image--734321962.jpg"></a></div><br><div><br></div></div>Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-28648921308082815262014-11-18T08:52:00.000-08:002014-11-18T08:52:10.441-08:00Boy or Girl?No, we don't know yet! But we get to find out Friday at 16 weeks! We are going to one of those 3D places, but not getting a 3D picture, just doing gender determination. They also send a link to Jaci's parents so they can see and hear everything live. We loved the idea. So I decided to make a list of all the gender prediction myths and theories and then see what everyone else thinks!<br />

Here was our Facebook announcement.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Of course it had some great words to go with it too. Everyone was super excited. So to let you guys know how I've been feeling. Oh boy.... From the end of week 5 to about the beginning of this week, I was SOOOO nauseous. I NEVER threw up, but I definitely had some dry heaving in my trash can at work a couple times haha. The worst thing has been acid reflux/heartburn. I have never had it before and it has hit me bad. My OB said it was just going to get worse. Ugh Great.... My food aversions have been crazy. I basically don't want meat... especially chicken. I HATE chicken. I have been okay with meatloaf and all I want is potatoes and veggies. No cravings for anything sweet except chocolate milk, which I have been drinking since the coffee makes me acids awful. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We just had our NT Scan on 10/28. We went back and forth on whether or not to do this, but figured we get an ultrasound out of it. We are SO glad we did. My mother-in-law got to come and see it too, which is great since she lives out of state. She and my father-in-law are here helping us with our crazy yard and starting to finish the basement. Our hopes are to have it done by May when the baby gets here. Here is our little baby sucking his/her thumb.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He/She was SOOOO active. Jumping and waving with the left hand. It was just the best thing to see. Especially since the baby has just looked like a blob lately. The heart rate was 150 this time. It was 160 about a week ago and then 170 a few weeks before that. The next time we get to see the baby is November 21st. That's when we are finding out the gender! So excited. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The wife and I get to go to Vegas in 9 days! It will be a good baby moon/anniversary trip. I have a conference to go to for work so everything is pretty much paid for besides Jaci's flight. We needed a trip! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, until next time, who has gender guesses???</div>

We go back this Friday for a 9 week scan. That will be our last one at the RE. Kinda depressing. Then we won't have one until around 12 weeks. We will definitely be going through withdrawal!</div>

<br />
<br />
Im so excited to be writing this. The wife and I had an appointment with our RE yesterday morning to talk about other options if this 3rd round didn't work. Well we were 12dpo and Jaci decided we should just test. Well we tested and this came up!<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZPrSMBxXoPDQCNxtoaKQvfN3Gr9WKoo6WI6bI9HGOxsjeLMSAKYPQXfYz5yBR2v7zzN5O-g1LRi71SfPika1khyphenhyphenxv1X31_22TcWDeU3-YZKO9Beg6IUMfOLyTAXPotkxIKWIVndOtKKk/s640/blogger-image-608657079.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZPrSMBxXoPDQCNxtoaKQvfN3Gr9WKoo6WI6bI9HGOxsjeLMSAKYPQXfYz5yBR2v7zzN5O-g1LRi71SfPika1khyphenhyphenxv1X31_22TcWDeU3-YZKO9Beg6IUMfOLyTAXPotkxIKWIVndOtKKk/s640/blogger-image-608657079.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
The line was super dark! So when we got to the office, we told our doctor and he was so happy! Then he told our nurse and she started dancing! She was just dancing around doing the cabbage patch. It was great to have all of these people be happy for us. So we were originally going to take a BETA test on 14dpo, but the doctor said to just do one while we were here. Beta was 97.4 and Progesterone was 40! We go back in tomorrow for the 2nd beta. Woohooooo!</div>
<br /></div>
Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-85996978838429259662014-08-18T13:24:00.002-07:002017-12-13T14:53:57.938-08:00CD18 IUI#2 is done!So this experience was a lot different than IUI#1! We got there early because last time we were stressed trying to figure out where this office was and were late. So we checked in, went to get blood work done, then to the cafeteria to hae a little breakfast. Once the waiting time was up, we went to the office and signed in. One of the nurses called us back to go over the vial info. She told us the total motile sperm was 84.6 million. We were in shock! Then she said, "and we didn't need to wash it since it was pre-washed." We said, "wait, what? It wasn't pre-washed. It needs to be washed." So she checked on it and saw that we were correct and that got us thinking about our first IUI. If they made a mistake this time, did they do the same last time. Sure enough, they didn't wash it last time. So the 68.5 million total motile was before the wash. She also said that she is glad I didn't have horrible cramping last time because that normally happens if you put unwashed sperm straight into the uterus. She said I would've had to get a shot in office if my cramping was bad. So she was very nice and credited our account the amount of the vial plus the extra we paid for higher motility. I'm 99.9% sure that I ovulated 24 hours after my 1st iui and it wouldn't have worked anyway.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Back to the total motile. So if last time the total motile was 68.5 before washing, then it probably would've been like 20-30 million after wash. Our total motile after wash this time was 49.06 million. We have good feelings about this time.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1. It was my father-in-law's birthday</div>
<div>
2. My wife's good friend had a baby that day.</div>
<div>
3. Jaci got to push the plunger this time! </div>
<div>
4. It was 3 years from the day that we got engaged.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The nurse called me later that day to check in and also let me know that according to my blood work, I was definitely ovulating. So it's perfect timing. Im glad I said something to my nurse about going in 36 hours after trigger instead of 24. So we got back in next week to do progesterone testing and then a week after that for pregnancy test. We will likely test on the 30th before we go into the office for bloodwork. Crossing our fingers!!!</div>

We usually go around this time and they are on the smaller side. Like 12-16. This time there were 2 mature follicles at 18 and 21.5! I honestly think it has something to do with the HSG. My lining is definitely being affected by the clomid. It was at 6. Luckily, it was triple striped/feather patterned. Needless to say, we triggered sooner than we normally do! We did the trigger shot last night around 9. The insemintation will be around 35-36 hours past trigger at about 8:15-8:30 am tomorrow morning. </span></h2>Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-87498284268749436232014-08-12T06:00:00.001-07:002014-09-04T13:24:22.566-07:00Bfn#2I really thought we had everything perfect this time, but it was a BFN! Onto try#3. Since the HSG in office was only done with saline and they weren't able to get a good read on my left tube, we scheduled an HSG in the hospital with my doctor. I always get so nervous with tests like this, but it wasn't bad. Jaci was able to come back and see the x-Ray and everything flowing through my tubes great! The nurse told us that this procedure "clears out the cobwebs" and they see a lot of people get pregnant afterwards. Hoping that happens on our third try! Tomorrow is my CD13 ultrasound and blood work. Crossing our fingers for a lot of good size follicles. We also have a meeting with our doctor in a couple weeks to talk about other options if this time doesn't work. The nurse mentioned injectables and the fact that it doubles the risk of multiples. Jaci didn't like that part haha! We will see how things go!Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-29008812045418038872014-07-17T14:22:00.001-07:002014-08-15T18:51:15.734-07:00CD 16Went to the RE this morning and there is a 22 on the right and a 20 on the left. Options were to trigger then and come in 29 hours later at 1 tomorrow or trigger tonight and come in Wednesday at 8:30am. That would make it like 35-36 hours. I know for sure that I came in too early last IUI and that was around 27 hours after. Since I don't have and EWCM and OPKs are negative, we picked the Wednesday time. I'm hoping I made the right decision! Jaci pointed out that it Wednesday is our engagement date so I think that would be a good day to do the IUI. <div><br></div><div>In other news, the in laws and nephews are in town and we took them to NYC this weekend. Although it was pretty hot, it was a great trip! </div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2uIsjOVtXMjJQFBtOi83u_fzZ2n3G_4CjHoN8mh7MXh9uFI6WAsiR05tht7lg53oWv90-6rcTFPgbyhJ7qq1nLykUFgHwIggDMer-vrjj6uRLKl6Oa27TRC6aXIPBlLVdkLEavGD9Ekk/s640/blogger-image--1651585797.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2uIsjOVtXMjJQFBtOi83u_fzZ2n3G_4CjHoN8mh7MXh9uFI6WAsiR05tht7lg53oWv90-6rcTFPgbyhJ7qq1nLykUFgHwIggDMer-vrjj6uRLKl6Oa27TRC6aXIPBlLVdkLEavGD9Ekk/s640/blogger-image--1651585797.jpg"></a></div>Anyway, crossing my fingers for Wednesday! We went to the RE this morning and were ecstatic because our favorite nurse was there. This is the nurse that actually goes through every motion and measurement with us. We love her. This cycle is way different! I have 2 large follicles on the right and 2-3 large ones on the left. Last cycle I had only 1 total. Needless to say, we are feeling a lot more optomistic this go around. If I remember correctly, I think she said they were in the 12-16 range. My lining was only at 4 though, which makes sense because I am a late ovulater. So by Monday we are hoping for some 18s and 20s! If all goes well, we will either trigger Monday morning or Monday night. I let the nurse know that I ovulated the day after the IUI and my concerns with that. She said that we could definitely do a 36 hour instead of a 24. Yay! That would put us maybe Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, which I think would be better. Wish us luck!Kerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11725269046361525827noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-308803152033480879.post-6624370146998349652014-07-01T08:43:00.003-07:002014-07-01T08:43:42.686-07:00BFN!<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Yep. Unfortunately IUI#1 was a no go. I did ovulate the day after the insemination just like I thought. I think for he next IUI, I'll be trying to get closer to the 36th hour than the 24th like my office does normally does. Here was my chart: </span><br />

I had a ton of what I though were pregnancy symptoms. I also though maybe I had an implantation dip on 11dpo. </div>

On another note, we had a blast in Hawaii.<br />

Our girl dog doesn't look pleased with her dress! Now I'm looking forward to my holiday weekend hanging out with friends and these pups. </div>

Ultrasound showed a follicle at 21.5mm. So that was pretty good growth from Monday! She gave me the trigger shot and then I went to work as usual. Thursday was insemination day. The IUI was at a different place than our normal RE because of where they store the specimen. It was chaotic because the nurse didn't give us very good directions, so we were stressed. Thankfully, we had about 45 minutes to go to the cafeteria while they were preparing the specimen. We get to the office and they call us back. The nurse was SOOOO nice! She let us know that they normally look for 5 million motile and our donor was at 68.51 million AFTER they washed it! Today, we are on our way to Hawaii and I have A LOT of ewcm. It makes me think that maybe I ovulated this morning instead of yesterday. We will see what my FF chart ends up saying but I know the lifetime of frozen sperm is a lot less than fresh, so I just hope timing worked out. We go back in on 6/25 for a beta. We have decided to test at home on 6/23. Crossing our fingers. In the meantime, we are going to be in Hawaii until 6/21 so I'm going to try to relax and not think about it! Here are some pics to remember everything by.<br />

This was 2 hours after the trigger. It was a flashing smiley. Then a few hours later, it was a solid smiley. I know the trigger shot would make these positive, but I've never seen a positive so this made me happy!</div>
