The Story of Us

How We Met

(Left=Kerry, Right=Jaci)

Jaci's view-Kerry and I met in November of 2010 while I was on vacation with my dear friend, Marissa. The last leg of our vacation was San Diego, to visit a good friend of mine from high school...she happened to be friends with Kerry as well. We were introduced after dinner one night and had an instant connection. We all spent the entire evening together, and the next 2 days following. I wasn't certain what would happen when I got back home to Kentucky - but our communication never ceased. I knew IMMEDIATELY that our paths were meant to cross - and my life has been so much better ever since. I'm blessed to have found the one person in life that I can see spending every day with - and am so excited for what the future holds!

Kerry's view-Jaci and I met on 11/13/10. Her friend from high school just so happened to be one of my first friends when I moved to San Diego. The night Jaci and I met, I was having dinner with a couple friends and was introduced to this gorgeous blonde girl. I told my friends that I knew she was the one. The next day, we met up to go to the farmer's market and to watch football. She was all decked out in her Bengals jersey. I gave her 10 points for bringing her jersey on vacation and deducted 5 because it wasn't a 49ers jersey. :) There hasn't been a day that has gone by since the night we met that we have not talked. Jaci is my soulmate completely.....even if I spilled a drink on her the first night we met. :)

Proposal

We were connected from the moment we met, and our proposal is another testament to our connection. Unbeknownst to each of us, we were both planning to present the other with a ring; a promise of the rest of our lives. Not only were we both planning it, but apparently we were planning it with the same people, for the same day! Not many people can say they proposed at the same time, planned for the same place, date, time, etc. On a beach in San Diego, we both smiled and laughed as we put a ring on the other's finger.
