Yes, we already got married. Twice. But today is an amazing day for us. I get tears in my eyes as I write this. Same-sex couples can finally marry in our good old state of Pennsylvania!
While I had hoped and prayed that this day would come before we had a baby, I never knew it would be this quick! My wife and I are so incredibly happy. I'm on my way home to her so we can celebrate tonight! Oh happy day!!!
Congrats! I remember this feeling when Maryland did the right thing! Although we were already married in DC....it was such an emotional moment in our lives! So happy for you ladies!
Whoo, hoo! Isn't it the best feeling! We had already married in Cabo San Lucas (what I consider our "real" wedding) and Canada before marrying in NM, but there is just something different about marrying in your home state and knowing you have those rights. How awesome that you two were able to do this before baby.
We had a domestic partnership, our "real wedding" and then a legal wedding when it became legal in CA again. There is something very special about getting married where you live and feeling equal to everybody else! Congrats! :) -Sarah
Congratulations! Kim and I are waiting until its legal here in our own state. I really only want to get married ONCE. And while I am sure that is nuts to some and we have 11 years and a 2 year old later, still not been 'married' in our eyes we share all the same love a marriage does. I hope, tentatively, that Missouri is going to roll out the marriage equality train soon!
